Mahmoud Khattab and other CEOs' 2021 Gartner CEO Survey's review
Mr. Mahmoud Khattab is the Precision MD’s CEO, a firm founded in California, US, and deals with professional facial filling, skin rejuvenation, chemical peeling, body contouring, and many more. He has held this office since 2011, and he is also a board member of another firm, the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. Mahmoud Khattab speaks two languages, Arabic and English.
In 2020, Mahmoud Khattab attended the Gartner CEO Survey, a study that focused on global health insights. That year, everybody focused their energy on responding to the outbreak of Covid-19. The main aspects discussed were the mass production of PPEs, ventilators, and hand sanitizer. Well, in 2021, this changed, and when the CEOs met, their main agenda was the mass production of the corona vaccine so that by mid-2021, they could curb the virus and improve the economic situation.
The 2021 Gartner CEOs survey had 456 business heads from 30 different countries. They did the study in 3 shifts, with Mahmoud Khattab still in attendance. The first shift had 60% of its representatives believing that their firm’s revenue would return to normal by 2021 after battling with Covid-19 in 2020, 30% expected resurgence, and 10% thought the economy would not recover.
With the workforce regaining momentum in 2021, 24% of CEOs in the second shift acknowledged that human capital is a top 3 priority in any firm. The CEOs were not keen on cost management, which had featured in the top 3 priorities of the previous year, so it slipped down to position seven. This decline was because the pandemic forced many firms to reduce costs automatically in 2020.
The last shift focused on digital capabilities, an attribute that came in handy when Covid-19 broke out. However, vital areas such as product enhancement, people and culture, and information technology always had great support from the CEOs; this time, only a few were committed to them.
