Andrew Frame: The Expert On Technology Law And Patents

Andrew Frame is an internationally recognized authority on technology law and patents, with a particular emphasis on intellectual property rights. Andrew has been providing legal advice to clients in the U.S., Canada, Europe, Asia and Australia for over two decades. Andrew’s work has also led him to represent clients at international conferences such as WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization) and OECD (Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development).

Andrew Frame was one of the first people to be designated by his state bar association as an e-discovery expert who advises attorneys about how digital evidence should be collected during litigation proceedings. His articles and papers on electronic discovery, cloud computing and social media have been cited in key cases such as John Wiley & Sons.

Frame holds a PhD in science history from the University of California at Berkeley. Prior to studying law, Andrew taught cyberculture at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. He has taught advanced research skills courses to graduate students and has published papers and given presentations on topics such as the impact of information technology on modern society, cybernetics and scientific revolutions. Frame is also a regular speaker at industry conventions and conferences across North America.

Andrew Frame was the 2009 laureate of the Association for Data-driven Marketing and Advertising (ADMA) in Canada (2009). Andrew Frame has been quoted and published articles in many industry magazines, including CIO, IT Professional and ComputerWorld.

In addition to his law practice, Andrew Frame is a writer and editor as well as an accomplished musician. He has been known to play the bassoon with symphony orchestras from Vancouver to Los Angeles. He holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Carleton University in Ottawa.Frame lives with his wife and three daughters in Toronto.
