Omar Yunes Can Now Add “Best Franchisee in the World” to His List of Accomplishments

Sushi Itto franchisee Omar Yunes can now add the Best Franchisee of the World to his list of accomplishments. That’s because of the competition for the BFW, held in Florence, Italy in 2015, recognized Yunes for his many contributions that he made for the Sushi Itto brand. It was at the age of 21 that Omar first became a Sushi Itto franchisee and today he currently owns a total of 13 independent franchises that are situated throughout Mexico. Because of this amount of franchises, it is estimated that he owns close to 10% of the total amount of brand franchises.

In a statement, Omar Yunes said “I am very proud of what just happened right now. I only represent the brand so the real gratitude belongs to the 400 franchise employees that work among the 13 franchises.”

With 34 countries representing the BFW’s 2015 presentation, there was a lot of competition coming out of Mexico, Portugal, Brazil, Hungary, Italy, France, and Argentina. As part of the competition, each franchisee gets evaluated based on their network effect. This includes the amount of network influence, the amount of proposed improvements, employee motivation, the amount of savings acquired, and the amount of contributions made.

BFW Mexico organizer Diego Elizarrarrás let it be known that Omar had also taken the award because of his ability to eliminate other entrants on a national level. He achieved the overall management of both control boards and information that allows accurate measurement of his franchises.

According to Sushi Itto CEO Benjamin Cancelmo, he commented by saying “the awards presented represent the amount of effort each franchise makes and the amount of excellent service we provide to our customers, hospitality, and distinct flavor.”

According to Prendamex franchise manager Patricia Campos, Prendamex franchisee Ivan Tamer was the runner-up coming from the Mexican chapter. This was due to his provision and implementation of all tools that helped to develop the brand’s marketing system that now manages their brand’s pawn shop network.

Mexican entrepreneur Omar Yunes is a Sushi Itto franchisee. He is 39 years old and joined the Sushi Itto brand back in 1999. He has successfully managed to become a key player among other Mexican businesses. With the addition of his BFW award, his success will continue to grow for many years to come.
