The 11th edition of the Gold Stevie Award for Sales and Customer Service were held at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas. The event was attended by more than 600 business executives and other company representatives. It had drawn more than 2,000 nominees from around the globe for their different categories. There were more than 53 categories of awards at the event, and Securus Technologies was among the biggest winners of the night. The company bagged the award for the best in sales and customer service.
It is not hard to see why Securus received the award. The company has been growing and developing fast in the five years that it has been operational. When they started offering monitoring, tracking and other communication solutions to correctional facilities and even individual companies, they were having a hard time convincing people to buy into the services. However, they are currently the service provider of choice to more than 20,000 correctional facilities across the country, and they are still growing.
When receiving the award on behalf of the company, the senior vice president in charge of operations said that it was a great honor to receive the award and added that this was a reflection of the quality of customer support that they offer their clients. He reiterated the principle that they have always held as a business, that the ultimate happiness of the customer is more valuable than any sales and profit. In the recent past, the company has received accreditation from the better business bureau because of the quality of their services. They have also received many glowing recommendations from customers who review their services.
The judges organizing the awards commended Securus and stated that it is not an easy thing to accomplish what they had and in such a short period. He urged them to keep up the good work.
